With a film like Basterds slyly making up-to-the-minute assumptions about warfare today—it’s about terrorism, not turf; ideology, not moral certainty—no wonder a bloated patriotic ode like The Pacific lands with a thud.

IMO pole Pacific’l häda midagi. Täitsa vaadatav. Kuigi jah Band of Brothers oli kohe algusest peale hea, aga tipp saabus alles 6. (Bastogne) ja 7. (The Breaking Point) osaga. Pacificul alles 4 osa välja tulnud.
